Introduction
Welcome to the exoTK homepage.
exoTK ( pronounce exotica ) means "Extension for OpenCASCADE ( ToolKit )". It takes also the prefix "exo", because I don't want to integrate the sources in OpenCASCADE, because the project is under GPL License, which is not compatible with the LGPL-like OpenCASCADE license.
It is basically a high level class library making the use of OpenCASCADE
easier. The library will be principally used to build a 3d solid modeler (
exoTKAD ).
As I'm developing the library with my needs for exoTKAD, the library is not
complete and I will insert all the functions I need for the Modeler.
Status
The current version is 1.0 Beta.
Keep in mind, it is the first released version. Many problems can occur.

What is OpenCASCADE
OpenCASCADE is a set of C++ classes to develop 3d modeling applications. OpenCASCADE is an open source project and runs on Windows, Linux and SUN Solaris. For more information see www.opencascade.com and www.opencascade.org.
